Simple Salsa (From Sonia)
Boil roma tomatoes and chiles (jalapeños or serranos)
estimate like 4 roma tomatoes, 2-3 chiles depending on your heat preference
boil until you can pierce tomatoes easily with a fork, and chiles will turn a darker green
Once boiled pour it in the blender, and add
some red onion (1/4 - 1/2), I actually did a whole small one.
cilantro, I did a couple tbsps
a couple cloves of garlic, I did 4
Blend it. Or you can also mash the tomatoes and chiles and mix it together with the other ingredients.
I actually just mashed the tomoatoes, next time I may take off skin after boiling, I ended removing as much as I could after mashing.
Then I just finely diced everything and just mixed by hand.
Put it in a bowl and add salt to your liking
